Rugby: County head to Aberdeen

STIRLING County are on their travels tomorrow (Saturday) following a free week.

They missed out on the chance of a game last Saturday after losing to Dundee in the Caledonian Cup semi-final the previous weekend.

Tomorrow they are back in action at Aberdeen Grammar, hoping to for a win which would give them a chance to move up the Premier A table. In a thrilling match in October at Bridgehaugh Stirling came out on top by 30-20 and they would love a repeat scoreline at Rubislaw.

The game will kick off after the Italy v Scotland international.

County’s Sarah Dixon retains her place in the Scotland side for the final international of the season against Italy in Brescia on Sunday. The Scots girls are still winless and pointless after four fixtures.

Adam Sinclair starts for Scotland U20s against Italy in Brescia tonight (Friday) and is joined in the team by former County colleague Finn Russell, now at Falkirk.

Jamie Bhatti will be on the bench as the Scots aim for their first win of the season.
