Stirling County will have four representatives in the Scotland Under 20 side to meet England at Plymouth on Friday evening.
Winger Rory Hughes and forwards Jamie Bhatti, Ruaridh Leishman and Adam Ashe will pull on the dark blue jersey, hoping to give a boost to their “big brothers” for Saturday’s Six Nations opener at Twickenham.
Stirling County’s match on Saturday against Boroughmuir fell victim to Friday’s snow and they will not be in action again until February 16, when they travel to Currie.
Eagle-eyed rugby fans will have spotted County’s Bridgehaugh ground in a TV advert this week to promote the RBS Six Nations.
Just before Christmas 12 of the club’s P5 and P6 players filmed the advert after Scottish Rugby approached County for their help.
